Nikki Beach hosted selected movie premiers and concerts during the 61st Cannes Film Festival. A-list celebrities such as Cannes Jury President Sean Penn, Harrison Ford, Bono, Shia LaBeouf, Harvey Weinstein, Eva Longoria, Edward Norton and other film industry VIPs attended private events at Nikki Beach in Cannes from May 14 through the 25, 2008.

Each night, Nikki Beach hosted the biggest events on La Croisette inside the Palais Stephanie (ex-Noga Hilton,) including the Festival Kickoff Event with a performance by Macy Gray sponsored by L'Oreal, the F*** Me I’m Famous Party hosted by high-end lingerie boutique Marlies|Dekkers, an exclusive A SMALL WORLD cocktail party, Petra Nemcova’s celebration for her “Love Evolution” documentary, Relativity Media party hosted by director Ryan Kavanaugh, Europa Corp’s party for director Luc Besson, the world premiere party for “Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired,” the world premiere party for the Dardenne Brothers “Le silence de Lorna,” a dinner for the world premiere of “Maradona,” a Gala Dinner for Les Etoiles, and the official closing cocktail party for the Cannes Film Festival’s “Un Certain Regard.”
